HAMER FACTORY TOUR
What a way to start the tour! A beautiful stack of Korina just wating to be a six- string tone machine. Hamer uses only the best woods for their instruments and rejects up to 70% of the wood they receive. This may cost a bit more, but we think it's worth it!
Hamer employs about a dozen skilled and talented artisans that have a commitment to building the finest guitars available. Only producing 3-4 guitars a day insure that EVERY detail of EVERY guitar is perfect.
The tops are carved by hand to bring out the natural beauty of each guitar. No "cookie-cutters" here! In the photo above the beginning of a Hamer Artist Ultimate.

These necks are "resting" prior to being radiused. By letting the wood do it's thing "naturally", then sanding out the radius, you end up with an incredibly stable neck that will provide you with years of trouble free performance. Once again, this process takes a little longer, but definitely worth it!
After radiusing, frets are installed by hand one at a time.
Necks are then hand-fitted to the body and checked for alignment..........
......PERFECT!
Once the final detailing of the instrument is complete it's off to the paint shop for taping and finishing.
Many clear coats of finish are applied with the color coat being sandwiched in the middle, giving the appearance of the finish "floating"........Beautiful!
Buff-Buff Here!
Buff-Buff There!
After your guitar is outfitted with pickups and hardware,.it's off to final set-up!

Every Hamer guitar is built every step of the way by some of the most dedicated and talented guitar builders in the industry today. Give us a call to check our current Hamer inventory or if you would like to have one "Custom Built" we can guide you through the process.
